ChemE 352 student working on process simulation of heat exchangers for process design course. I am a senior in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Northwestern University. I am pursuing a degree in chemical engineering with a focus on process engineering. This article is useful because many young engineers understand the fundamental theory behind heat exchangers, but are unclear on how these problems are solved (simulated) in practice.
